The Abia State Police Command has issued an urgent call to the public for assistance in locating a missing man, Chidiadi Solomon Onyema, a 38-year-old resident of Aba and native of Umuode village, Isiala Ngwa Local Government Area.
In a statement released by the Commissioner of Police, Abia State, through the Public Relations Officer, DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka, it was revealed that Chidiadi was last seen on November 25, 2024, when he left his residence on Ibegbulam Street, Omuma Road, Aba at about 11:00 am, riding a motorcycle to his village. He has not been seen or heard from since.
His brother, Mr. Chinedu Onyema, filed a distressing report of his disappearance on January 17, 2025.
Chidiadi is described as 5 feet tall, with a fair complexion and no tribal marks. He is fluent in English and Igbo, making communication easier for those who might encounter him.
The Abia State Police Command has appealed to members of the public who may have any information about his whereabouts to contact Mr. Chinedu Onyema, visit the nearest police station, or reach out to the Office of the Police Public Relations Officer, Abia State Command.
DSP Maureen Chioma Chinaka emphasized the significance of public cooperation in the search effort, stating, “Your information could make all the difference in reuniting Mr. Onyema with his loved ones.”
The police urge anyone with relevant details to come forward promptly, as time is of the essence in locating the missing man.
